Abstract:
To provide a technique for inhibiting stray light incident through a gap between a lens element and a light blocking film into a microlens array and improving imaging performance of the microlens array.SOLUTION: The microlens array comprises a light blocking film (2) provided around one or more lens elements (1a) arranged on a substantially tabular base material part (1b) so as to generate a predetermined gap region for at least part of the outer periphery of the lens element (1a), and the at least part of the gap region is provided with a roughened surface region (1c) with greater surface roughness in comparison to other regions in the base material part (1b).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
