The optical fiber cable is constituted by arranging around a center body 18 optical fiber units 15 each having ribbons of coated optical fibers 13 formed by arraying and uniting coated optical fibers 11 in parallel so that the coated optical fibers 11 draw spiral tracks along the length while the same pitch, the same direction, the same spiral radius, and different center axes. In this case, the coated optical fiber 11 of the optical fiber units 15 are all equalized in physical length.
