Abstract:
To provide a metamaterial optical filter which efficiently shields electromagnetic waves of a specific wavelength and has small incident angle dependency and polarization dependency at the time of oblique incidence at any point of the incident surface.SOLUTION: On one surface of a transparent substance, a metamaterial optical filter includes a laminated structure of an absorbent layer 1 in which an extinction coefficient (kA) of a maximum absorption wavelength λ1 max in the wavelength 300nm-1400nm is 0.5 or more and a non-absorption layer 2 in which the extinction coefficient (kB) of the maximum absorption wavelength λ max in a wavelength 300nm-1400nm is 0.3 or less. The metamaterial optical filter contains an organic dye in the absorption layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
