Title:
OPTICAL SCANNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0344615
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy by storing digitized data of a driving signal which has desired waveform set corresponding to a mechanical characteristic, and performing analog regeneration. CONSTITUTION:A mirror 11 which is controlled by a galvanometer 12 makes a light signal from a laser source 13 to scan a target 14. The ideal driving waveform for the driving signal of the galvanometer 12 is generated by utilizing digital waveform processing to drive the mirror 11 without any overshoot. The ideal driving waveform of the galvanometer 12 is PCM-coded and stored in a ROM 20. The waveform data in the ROM 20 is outputted to a data bus B1 by specifying addresses by an address generator 21 from the head of the waveform. The waveform data on the data bus B1 is inputted to a latch circuit 22, then inputted to a D/A converter 23. Then the data is converted into an analog current signal according to a reference current generated with a reference voltage generated by a reference voltage generator 25, and the analog current signal is converted into an analog voltage, which is inputted to the galvanometer 12.
