Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a large-diameter lens by satisfying specific conditions with the refraction factor distribution type lens constituted of multiple lenses containing at least one lens with the refraction factor spherically distributed centering on a specific point on the optical axis. CONSTITUTION:This is a refraction factor distribution type spherical lens constituted of multiple lenses containing at least one lens with the refraction factor spherically distributed centering on a point on the optical axis. This lens is expressed by the equation I, where N is the refraction factor of homogeneous glass serving as a base, (r) is the radius of a sphere with the spherically distributed refraction factor, X0 is the distribution center position of the spherically distributed refraction factor measured from the face on the object side of the refraction factor distribution type lens, (b) is the distance where the refraction factor measured from the distribution center position becomes N1, N2,... are primary, secondary... coefficients, and D is the thickness on the optical axis of the refraction factor distribution type lens. When a curvature is applied to the glass serving as a base material, the spherical refraction factor distribution along the curvature is obtained, thus the large-diameter lens can be obtained.
