Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily detect an error in an optical transmission circuit.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided an oscillator 1 and a dividing circuit 2 as means to generate a test signal for testing an optical transmission circuit. In addition, there are provided a comparison circuit 10 to make a comparison between a generated test signal 13 and a corresponding signal 14 after the optical transmission circuit, and an error display circuit 11 to show that the optical transmission circuit is abnormal, when there is any disagreement between said signals 13 and 14.
