CONSTITUTION: A selection processing means 105 of an optimization problem solving device with limiting conditions is provided with a means which temporarily holds the solid matters violating the limiting conditions among those solid matters included in a solid matter group, a means which selects the violating solid matters in number smaller than a prescribed number out of those held violating solid matters if the number of solid matters accordant with the limiting conditions is smaller than a prescribed number and therefore corrects the number of solid matters in accordance with the limiting conditions, and a means which adds the corrected solid matters to the solid matter group in order to keep a fixed number of solid matters in the solid matter group when the selection processing is finished.
