To provide an optimization system for a plant repair plan, which reasonably draws up a plan instead of drawing up a trial and error plant repair plan according to human experience and intuition.

This system 10 is an optimization system of a plant repair plan for a plant complex composed of mutually related plants. The system is provided with a repair information inputting part 12 and a needed personnel information inputting part 14 to which plants repair information and needed personnel information are respectively inputted, a repair logical relation defining means 16 formalizing the logical relation of plants repairs as a mathematical planning problem, a needed personnel logical relation defining part 18 formalizing the logical relation of needed personnel as a mathematical planning problem, a utility inputting part 20 to which utility information is inputted, a plant model defining part 22 defining a material balance equation, an optimization calculating part 24 which prepares a mixed integer type linear mathematical programming model and calculates the plants repair plan so as to minimize the total required costs for the plants repairs of the plant complex and an outputting part 28 outputting results.
