Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optoacoustic imaging device, etc. capable of performing optoacoustic observation and optical observation in a subject while suppressing diameter enlargement of an insertion part.SOLUTION: An optoacoustic imaging device 1 includes: an illumination light source part 2; a laser source part 3; an optical switching part 4 for switchably emitting either illumination light generated by the illumination light source part 2 or a laser beam generated by the laser source part 3; a control part 11 for controlling a switching operation of the optical switching part 4; an insertion part 5 that can be inserted into a subject; a light guide 54 inserted into the insertion part 5 for transmitting the illumination light or the laser beam emitted from the optical switching part 4; an apical end surface 54b for emitting the illumination light or the laser beam transmitted by the light guide 54; an imaging part 57 for imaging an area to which the illumination light is applied and generating an image signal; and an ultrasonic probe 55 for receiving a photoacoustic wave generated in the area to which the illumination light is applied, to convert it to an electric signal.
