Title:
OPTOELECTRONIC FILTER FOR ON-VEHICLE CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3027979
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To always obtain a prescribed CCD average output level by dividing a video signal space for use of image forming from a CCD into an upper space being an idle space on which a bright light source such as the sun beam is incident and a lower space shared by an automatic iris and activating a filter with the luminance of the lower space as an object.
CONSTITUTION: A video signal output resulting from a CD output from a CCD 4 passing through a correlation duplicate sample circuit 5 to eliminate noise and a horizontal transfer pulse is inputted to an AGC circuit 10. On the other hand, a video signal output corresponding to an upper space 13 is extracted from the video signal output by the window function of a window 6 and inputted to a filter control circuit 8. Furthermore, a signal output corresponding to a lower space 14 is extracted by the window function of a window 7 and inputted to an iris control circuit 9. Thus, the transmittivity of an EC element provided side by side to the circuit is suppressed for the brightness of a prescribed level or over by the operation of the circuit 8 and an automatic iris 3 provided side by side to the CCD 4 is operated for an object of the signal output from the lower space 14 through the operation of the circuit 9.
