Abstract:
To provide an organic binder in a green sand mold for casting which has excellent moldability of the green sand mold and pattern drawability when the pattern is drawn out from the hardened green sand mold, and further, is very inexpensive in comparison with the conventional starch, and its using method.
In the organic binder to be added into raw material in the green sand mold for casting, this organic binder contains a by-produced flying flour when milled flour is milled from bulb of konnyaku. This binder is added into the sand together with inorganic binder, such as bentonite, and water, and kneaded and hardened by applying external force to make the green sand mold for casting.
