The organic EL panel is provided with an organic EL element 10 which is formed on a glass substrate 1 and in which an organic layer 4 having at least a luminous layer is formed in lamination between a pair of electrodes (a transparent electrode 2 and a back plate 5), a sealing member which is provided on the glass substrate 1 so as to cover airtightly at least the organic layer 4, and a moisture absorption member 8 which is installed on the organic EL element 10 side in an airtight space S formed by the glass substrate 1 and the sealing member and forms a hydrate by reacting chemically with moisture.
