Title:
ORGANIC MATTER TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISCHARGING RESIDUAL SOLID FROM THE SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003136095
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an organic matter treatment system capable of preventing the closure of a flow channel caused by the sedimentation or precipitation of a solid or the like at the time of the oxidative decomposition of an organic matter slurry and capable of smoothly taking out a residual solid to the outside of the system.

A reactor (8) has a function for setting a slurry to a high temperature and high pressure state to oxidize the same by oxidation reaction using an oxidizing agent and separating the solid obtained by oxidative treatment and has not only a first outflow port allowing a fluid other than a solid to flow out at its lower part but also a second outflow port allowing a fluid other than the solid to flow out at its upper part. A solid cooler (9) is connected to the first outflow port by piping to cool the solid flowing out of the reactor (8). A solid recovery device (10) is connected to the lower part of the reactor (8) through the solid cooler to temporarily store the solid cooled by the solid cooler and water is supplied to the solid recovery device to internally pressurize the interior thereof to hold the internal pressure to the pressure almost same to that of the reactor.
