Abstract:
PURPOSE: To fix securely an original by providing an original press contacting device which presses and supports a part of the original on an original placing plate.
CONSTITUTION: An original press contacting device 4 is disposed on the base body side of an original placing plate 2. The original is securely fixed on a transparent plate T when the operator turns clockwise an arm 6 against the force of a spring 5 by an operating knob 14 and releases the knob 14 after inserting the original between a cushion material 7 and the plate T.
