Title:
ORTHOGONAL DOUBLE FRESNEL LENS PLATE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5754902
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the intensity of light on the focal plane, by forming a Fresnel lens having grooves of orthogonal parallel lines on the surface and the reverse side, or doubling two Fresnel lenses having grooves of parallel lines on one surface so that the grooves meet at right angles.

CONSTITUTION: A Fresnel lens plate 1 having grooves A, B, C... of parallel lines notched on the surface of an acryl plate, etc. is doubled so that the grooves meet at right angles with each other, or a Fresnel lens 2 having grooves A', B', C'... and P, Q, R... of parallel lines notched so as to meet at right angles with each other on both the surface and the reverse side is formed. In this way, the intensity of light on the focal plane is increased.
