Abstract:
PURPOSE: To set a duty cycle to 50%, almost independently of an amplitude of an oscillation signal by allowing a bias-generating means to make a 2nd DC bias dependent on an amplitude of a signal received via an AC coupling, so as to adjust a switching level and to compensate the effect. CONSTITUTION: An AC coupling 21 is placed between an oscillation stage 1 and a bias-generating means 20 and an oscillated signal is fed to the means 20. Thus, a 2nd DC bias to a gate of a PMOS transistor(TR) 9 is generated. Then an input-switching level is adjusted to a mean level of an input signal, depending on the amplitude of the oscillation signal. The switching level itself is made dependent on the amplitude by making the 2nd DC bias dependent on the amplitude in a good way. Since the switching level is adjusted to a level at which the duty cycle is 50%, that is, to be a median level especially, the effect of the amplitude depending on the 2nd DC bias on the duty cycle is compensated.
