Abstract:
To provide an osteogenesis promoting agent which is inexpensive, safe and highly effective.
This osteogenesis promoting agent contains phosphatidic acid as an active component. Since the agent contains, as the active component, phosphatidic acid prepared by enzymatic treatment of natural lecithin with enzymes such as phospholipase D, it can be daily taken without adverse effect, and can be included in foods or drinks. The natural lecithin contains phospholipid, for example, derived from vegetable materials such as soybean, rapeseed and rice; derived from fishery products such as fish and cuttlefish; or derived from animal materials such as egg yolk.
