Abstract:
To provide an outboard engine with an enhanced strength against a lateral load while suppressing increase in size and weight of a supporting member.SOLUTION: An outboard engine 100 comprises an attachment member 70 attached to a hull 11, and a support member 50 connected to the attachment member 70 rotatably up and down and to support a main outboard engine body 101 rotatably to the left and right. The support member 50 has an upper support member 51 and a lower support member 52. The outboard engine 100 comprises a left reinforcement member 90L with a left-upper connection part 91L connected to the upper support member 51 and with a left-lower connection part 92L connected to the lower support member 52, and a right reinforcement member 90R with a right-upper connection part 91R connected to the upper support member 51 and with a right-lower connection part 92R connected to the lower support member 52. The left-upper connection part 91L is located to the left of the left side of the upper support member 51. The right-upper connection part 91R is located to the right of the right side of the upper support member 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
