Abstract:
To prevent cost from increasing by solving a problem wherein the vibrational stress of a delivery pipe is increased depending on the position of a muffler 3a installed in a delivery pipe 3 connected to a compressor 1.
This outdoor unit of an air conditioner is formed such that the muffler 3a is arranged at an upper position within a compressor-projected contour shape. By this, since the muffler is positioned near the center of the compressor as a vibration source and its moment of inertia is reduced, the effect of an increase in vibrational stress on the delivery pipe by the installation of the muffler can be reduced.
