Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer package capable of suppressing deformation of an outer can even when inner pressure of a battery is increased.SOLUTION: An outer package for a battery includes an outer can and reinforcement members. Side faces of the outer can are opposed to each other, the side faces have two wide surfaces whose width is wider than the other surfaces in side view, an opposing direction of the two wide surfaces is a thickness direction of the outer can, recesses recessed to the inside in the thickness direction of the outer can are formed on the wide surfaces, and the reinforcement members are arranged in the recesses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
