Abstract:
To provide an external packaging material for a vacuum heat insulating material having excellent piercing resistance and capable of exhibiting excellent heat seal performance.SOLUTION: An external packaging material for a vacuum heat insulating material has a heat-weldable layer 1, and a gas barrier layer 2 located on one surface side of the heat-weldable layer. The heat-weldable layer has a film thickness of 20 μm or more, and the relation between an erosion depth from the outermost surface on the side opposite to a surface on the gas barrier layer side and an erosion rate, obtained by the microslurry erosion (MSE) test, satisfies the following conditions: the average erosion rate in the region from 10 μm to 20 μm in erosion depth is 0.1 μm/g or more, and the minimum value of the erosion rate in the region from 0 μm to 10 μm in erosion depth is less than 0.1 μm/g.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
