Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the scaling of graphic in meshes.
CONSTITUTION: Data on an outline font are stored in a CG (character generator) ROM 25 while divided into two kind of position indication data defining the figure shape of the font in meshes for position indication and graphic data defining the graphic shape of the font in meshes for graphic shape indication. Then an outline front data conversion part 26A generates outline font data in scaled normal form according to location indication data C and graphic data read out of the CGROM 25 corresponding to an input character code, position indication scale size, and graphic shape indication scale size and an outline font data analysis part 26B expands them to generate an outline font pattern.
