Title:
OUTPUT CONTROL METHOD FOR TOTAL FLOW TURBINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63173806
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the operation of a total flow turbine without any loss by controlling a hydrothermal governor based on a deflection between a hot water quantity calculated from the pressure and the temperature of the hot water on the downstream side of the hydrothermal governor and a required hot water quantity introduced from an output set value. CONSTITUTION:Hot water from a geothermal well is supplied to the divergent nozzle 1 of a total flow turbine 5 via a piping intermediately fitted with a hydrothermal governor 7, and the hot water is sprayed to a moving blade to move it circularly to be driven via a turbine rotor shaft. In such equipment, a pressure detector 8 and a temperature detector 9 are provided on the downstream side piping of the hydrothermal governor 7. Output signals from the detectors 8, 9 are inputted in a calculating mechanism 10 so as to calculate therein a saturated steam pressure corresponding to a hot water temperature and to obtain a differential pressure between the pressure and a detected hot water pressure, as well as to calculate a hot water quantity from said differential pressure. Further, a quantitative correlation between the hot water quantity and set flow quantity corresponding to a set output is allowed to be determined by an adjusting mechanism 11, thus enabling it to control the hydrothermal governor 7.
