Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the operability and the performance of efficiency by providing a storage means storing information inputted from a data source and a display means displaying the quantity of use by from of the information in the storage means in an output device outputting a character or a picture or the like so as to output the character or the picture or the like. CONSTITUTION:The depression time of a quantity of use display command switch 207 is discriminated to calculate number of blocks in use while a page buffer memory map is referenced with the depression time of less than 1sec, a form pattern memory map is referenced with the time less than 5sec and a character pattern memory map is referenced with the time more than 5sec respectively, and let the calculated number be (n), then the ratio of memory in use P in the form in use designated by the command switch depression time is calculated as P=(nX100)/T by the total block number T and the calculated value (n). Furthermore, the value P is displayed on a status LED 205 in a figure of 2-digit. Thus, by what purpose and how much memory is in use is made clear to urge the operator for a proper countermeasure.
