Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a varnish which cures upon irradiation with ultraviolet, electron beams, or the like and is less apt to suffer crazing during processing and to cause the trouble of thin-paper curling.
CONSTITUTION: This varnish comprises a radical-polymerizable prepolymer produced by reacting an isocyanate with a radical-polymerizable compound obtained by the esterification of caprolactone with 2-hydroxyethyl (meth)acrylate.
