Abstract:

To provide an overhead power transmission line in which a safety work space approximately equal to a CJ method can be secured, a load applied to a steel tower can be reduced by reduction in weight or the like, workability is improved, and when being applied to a steel tower without offset in cross-arms or a facility with wire supporting points of transverse array, an interphase can be secured easier than in the CJ method, and a steel tower construction method.

A metal shielded cable in which air termination parts are provided in both ends and a center conductor is comprised of a hard copper stranded wire or steel core aluminum stranded wire is supported on a steel tower, a conductor terminal part of the metal shielded cable and a steel tower side terminal part of an overhead power transmission line disposed with the steel tower interposed therebetween are connected directly, and a metal shielded layer of the metal shielded cable is grounded.
