Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an overhead traveling lift by which a moving range of a patient is increased and ascent-descent becomes safe.
CONSTITUTION: This overhead traveling lift is composed of horizontally arranged mutually parallel fixed rails 4, moving rails 5 movably placed on the fixed rails 4, a lift body 1 movably hooked on the moving rails 5, a suspended part 31 suspended from the lift body 1 and an emergency time slow down mechanism to lower the suspended part 31 at emergency time, and has a drum 16 to wind up a belt 15 passed round the suspended part 31 and a detector to detect rotation of the drum 16 in the lift body 1.
