PURPOSE: To provide an ozone purifier for a pisciculture water tank presenting purifying effect excellent in both immediate effectiveness and stability, small in installation area and facilitating its handling and maintenance.
CONSTITUTION: This ozone purifier has such a scheme that an ozone reaction vessel 2 is installed to decompose the ammonium ions and nitrite ions in the seawater conveyed from a pisciculture water tank 1 and contaminated with fish excreta, an ozonizer 6 is installed to feed the reaction vessel 2 with ozone gas, and a multistage oxidant decomposition bed tank 3 with an activated carbon bed 4 and a calcium sulfite bed 5 arranged in series, set up behind the reaction vessel 2, is installed to remove the oxidant produced in the reaction vessel 2 and return the seawater to the pisciculture water tank 1.
