Title:
OZONIZER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02172803
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the ozonizer capable of efficiently generating ozone by providing a discharge voltage varying means for controlling the discharge power outputted from a discharge voltage generator by an incoming operation signal to a high voltage at the initial stage of operation and to a low voltage at the succeeding stage.

CONSTITUTION: A high-level discharge voltage Vx=VH is impressed between both electrodes 11 and 12 from an operation signal input time t0 to the time t1 when a switching signal is inputted to a variable-voltage amplifier circuit 22. A low-level discharge voltage Vx=VL is impressed between both electrodes 11 and 12 until the operation signal is stopped. Namely, the discharge voltage is set at a low level after the time specified by the timer of a discharge voltage switching circuit 23 to lower the O3 output, and deodorization or sterilization is carried out with a small amt. of O3 conforming to the low residual odor density or bacteria density. By this method, the waste of power and the exhaustion of equipment are reduced.
