Title:
MONEY SORT DISCRIMINATING DEVICE FOR CYLINDRICAL COIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07105426
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accurately specify the sort of money by grouping materials in addition to the measurement of the external diameter of a cylindrical coin.

CONSTITUTION: While carrying a cylindrical coin 12 loaded by plural V-shaped hangers 13 in an approximately horizontal state, the coin 12 is led to an external diameter detecting mechanism 14 opposed to the top part inverting position of a carrying line 16. The mechanism 14 allows a roller 20 corresponding to the peripheral face of a lever 17 to come into contact with the outer peripheral face of the led coin 12 and the lever 17 is deformed to an inclined state. The 1st to the 5th detecting sensors S1 to S5 arranged in an inclination correspondence area corresponding to a detection correspondence chip 21 on the level base end side detect the inclined deformation quantity of the lever 17. At the time of detecting the external diameter, a regulation lever 18 for regulating the bound of the coin 12 accelerates smooth carrying regulating the vertical variation of the coin 12 on a position corresponding to the upper face side of the coin 12. A material detection sensor 15 arranged in the extracting direction of the coin 12 detects the material of the coin 12 based upon the difference of conductance and leads the coin 12 to an extracting backet 24.
