Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent magnetic particle type electromagnetic coupling device from developing torque dropping at initial stage by using spheroidized material which is produced by spheroidizing unshaped magnetic particles with an impact method in high speed air stream where a rotor rotating at high speed and a circulating circuit are provided. CONSTITUTION:Coarse powder of the magnetic particles under condition of unshaped particles, is manufactured with an atomizing manufacturing method. This coarse powder is supplied into a working chamber from charging hole 16 in powder body surface reforming apparatus 11 and the rotor 15 is rotated at a high speed. The coarse powder receives impact force and is scattered toward stator 13 and again returned back t center part of the rotor 15 through the circulating circuit 17. Mechanical and thermal energies are repeatedly given to the powder body and the rugged surface thereof is beaten and spheroidized. The spheroidized particles are enclosed in magnetic particle type electromagnetic coupling device. By using this magnetic particle, break-in for the device becomes unnecessity.
