Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To largely improve reliability of a communication system while maintaining high speed capability of communication by installing a first telecommunication line to connect a host computer and island computers of a pachinko parlor and a second telecommunication line to connect the island computers and terminal units in a game island.
SOLUTION: In a communication system to connect a host computer 1 to review the whole pachinko parlor, island computers 2... to summarize respective terminal units 5... in a game island 3 and the respective terminal units 5..., the host computer 1 and the island computer 2 are connected by a first telecommunication line L0. The island computers 2 and the respective terminal units 5 are connected by a second telecommunication line L1 of a kind different from the first telecommunication line L0. That is, when the first telecommunication line L0 is used for high speed communication, the second telecommunication line L1 is used for low speed communication. The second telecommunication line L1 is respectively constituted of telecommunication lines L2, L3 of two systems so that communication is controlled by monitoring the telecommunication lines of the respective two systems.
