PURPOSE: To obtain a packaged trioxane having controlled sublimation rate of trioxane, exhibiting the effect over a long period and useful as a moth- proofing agent for clothes, etc., by packaging trioxane with a synthetic resin film having a number of perforations.
CONSTITUTION: The objective packaged trioxane can be produced by packaging trioxane with a synthetic resin film having a number of perforations, such as film of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate, polyamide or cellophane (especially a polyethylene film or a laminated polyethylene film preferably having a thickness of 20W80μm). The rate of sublimation can be controlled by properly selecting the size, number and total area of the perforation bored in the synthetic resin film. The number of the perforations is preferably 0.01W10 per 1cm2 of the effective surface area of the synthetic resin film.
