Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process a plurality of products of different thickness in an arbitrary procedure by providing a controller in which the distance between an upper speed regulation element and a lower speed regulation element is constantly agreed with the height of the products to be packaged when the products reach a product positioning station.
SOLUTION: The surface speed of a speed regulation element 11 agrees with the transfer speed at which a product is fed in positioning the product in a product positioning station 10. Then, the speed of the speed regulation element 11 is changed during the engagement with the product so that the product is placed at the desired position on a packaging sheet. In addition, the distance between an upper speed regulation element 11 and a lower speed regulation element is constantly agreed with the height of the product to be packaged by a sensor 13 to measure the height of the product and a controller connected to an operation device 14 to continuously set the distance between the upper speed regulation element 11 and the lower speed regulation element. The products can be packaged without any troubles even when the thickness is different between a series of products to be packaged.
