To prevent steel plates as the contents of a packing body from being damaged when it has suffered an accidental impulse during the transportation, by covering the outermost part of the laminated bodies of steel plates and the corners connected thereto with attending plates.
When a laminated body 1 of steel plates is packed, an attending plate 2 is bent to make a L-shaped form along one full length of an arbitrary ridge (first corner) of four ridges connected to the uppermost part of the laminated steel plates. And the folded side is put on the side face of the first corner of the laminated plates and then, another attending plate 3 is placed likewise on one of the rest three corners. And subsequently attending plates 4, 5 are positioned to cover the uppermost face of the laminated plates and the four corners connected thereto. Thereafter, the laminated body 1 is wrapped with a rustproof paper and bundled with bands or the like to finish off the packing body.
