To obtain the subject remover improving removing property, controlling of fluidity, prevention of drooping, stability of emulsifying, etc., and having excellent storing stability and useful for removing a coated film of paint such as a usual temperature-hardening type aqueous acrylic resin by including high viscous xanthane gum having a specific viscosity.
This remover contains high viscous xanthane gum having a viscosity of 3,500-25,000 mPa.s (B-type viscometer, 6 rpm at 25°C) in a case of 0.5 wt.% of aqueous solution as a xanthane concentration. Preferably, the high viscous xanthane gum is obtained by heating xanthane gum having ≤50 wt.% of drying weight loss (under normal pressure at 105°C for 5 hrs) at 80-140°C for ≥30 min. The remover is also useful for cleaning of glass for a liquid crystal, a mounting substrate, a photosensitive aluminum drum, etc.
