PURPOSE: To prevent the formation of image patterns from being obstructed due to the reflection beams on the upper face of a pallet on which a work is placed, by providing a pallet in which the upper face loading a work is formed as a rugged face constituted of fine protrusions positioned adjacently to one another.

CONSTITUTION: A pallet 10 is provided with a plurality of fine protrusions 20 arranged to shape a matrix and positioned in mutual adjoining state. These fine protrusions 20 have pyramidal shapes respectively, or nearly right pyramidal shapes in particular in a more strict expression. Accordingly, the apex angle of respective fine protrusions 20 is almost 90°. The incident light on the pallet 10 are diffused by the special shape of the upper face 19. In this way, the reflected light of the incident ray into a lens 51 of a TV camera 50 getting a work W as image information can be reduced. And hence, when this pallet 10 is used, a clear image information can be obtained regardless of the incident light condition on the pallet upper face.
