PURPOSE: To reduce variance in the quantity of a difference in level between the surface of a display panel and the surface of a printed board for leading wiring out of the display panel by providing a support plate which supports the display panel and printed board.

CONSTITUTION: The printed board 2 which has a window hole larger than the panel 1 and a board 3 which has a window hole smaller than the panel 1 are stuck together. The window hole of the board 3 is as large as, for example, the effect display area of the panel. The external diameter size of the board 3 is equalized to that of the printed board 2 so as to determine the accurate relative positions of the two boards in sticking operation as a postprocess. Consequently, a quantity corresponding to the depth of buckling is obtained by the thickness of the printed board 2, and variance in the plate thickness is normally small and easily controlled to, for example, ≤0.1mm.
