To provide a tile roof which can be easily constructed by almost the same roofing work with conventional J-shaped pantiles and which is provided with a wind resistant function.
The ridge of a pantile and the valley curved downward from the ridge are continuously formed and an insertion part is formed at the valley part of the opposite side of the ridge part to form a tile body. A fitting leg 12 is protruded downward near the head side of the rear face in the ridge part, and a fitting notch 13 for the fitting leg 12 is formed at the tail side of the pantile body. The fitting leg 12 of the upper pantile is fitted in the fitting notch 13 of the adjacent lower pantile in the stream direction. The head side of the upper pantile is fixed to the lower pantile to prevent the pantile from floating up at the head side owing to strong wind.
