To provide a paper cutter capable of optionally adjusting the margin width of cut paper to cut the paper.
A fixed cutting edge 5 is provided at the edge of a paper placing base 2, and a guide rail 4 is disposed on the back face side of the fixed cutting edge 5. A slider is slidably disposed at the guide rail 4. A rotary cutting edge holder 7a having a rotary circular cutting edge 6, and an arm 9, are mounted to this moving body 8. The arm 9 is disposed straddling the fixed cutting edge 5 and fitted with a paper presser pressing part 15 for pressing a paper presser plate 10 disposed separably from the fixed cutting edge 5. The paper presser plate 10 is formed with graduations 10a for adjusting the margin width formed at the periphery of the cut paper, in parallel with a cutting line.
