PURPOSE: To convey a sheet of paper smoothly and securely by rotating a paper feed roller again for a set time or by a set rotation angle after the defined rotation of the roller is finished when the delivery of the final sheet of paper on a bottom plate is detected.
CONSTITUTION: As the end of the filler 360 of a paper end sensor 320 falls into the hole 355b of a bottom plate 355, the delivery of the final sheet of paper 301e is detected and the detected signal is inputted from the sensor 320 into a control board. Thereupon, the final sheet of paper 301e is sent out up to a defined position and the rotation of a feed roller 302 by means of a feed motor is stopped. After that, the feed roller 302 is additionally rotated again for a set time or by a set rotation angle to enable the rear end part of the final sheet of paper 301e to be smoothly drawn out of between the feed roller 302 and friction pads 355d, 303 at the time of conveying the final sheet of paper 301e by means of conveying rollers 39, 40.
