PURPOSE: To feed a continuous form paper without causing any slack and inexpensively by providing a plurality of plate members which make contact with pressure rollers to apply a tension on the paper simultaneously with release of the pressure rollers.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of feeding a slip 17, pressure rollers 6 and 7 are pressed against a platen 4 by springs 9 and 10. With the platen 4 rotated through transmission of the rotation of a driving motor 9 by a timing belt, the slip is fed along a paper guide 12 by frictional forces generated between the platen 4 and the pressure rollers 6, 7. At the time of feeding a continuous form paper 18, a lever 8a is turned under attraction by a solenoid 11 to transmit the rotation of the motor to the pressure rollers 6, 7, and the rollers 6, 7 are released from the platen. Simultaneously, the rollers 6, 7 are brought into contact with leaf springs 15, 16, whereby a tension is given to the paper 18, and the paper 18 is fed to a roller 3 without slacking between paper guides 13 and 14.
