Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a large and sudden difference between traveling tension of the cut web paper downstream of a cutting means even if low speed operation of a rotary press is intermittently performed by arranging a web paper traveling tension control device for controlling traveling tension of two-strip cut web paper in the downstream of a turn bar.
SOLUTION: A dancer roller means E is arranged between frames 30, 31 for operating a press of piston rods of hydraulic cylinders 8a, 8b via dancer rollers 5a, 5b on respective ones of cut web paper W1 passing through a turn bar D and cut web paper W2 of not passing through the turn bar D, and a detecting means F is arranged to detect a position of the dancer rollers 5a, 5b. A control means G is arranged to control a rotating speed of a driven roller of a sending-out means A so as to keep the dancer rollers 5a, 5b in a normal state position by receiving a detecting signal of the detecting means F to thereby prevent the occurrence of a large and sudden difference between traveling tension of the cut web paper W1 and the cut web paper W2.
