Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inhibit the output of a judge signal only when an illegal stealing operation occurs by exactly distinguishing the occurrence of the illegal stealing operation and the additional insertion of paper moneys.
CONSTITUTION: A paper money insertion sensor 68, conveying position detecting sensor and shutter member 75 are arranged along the inserting direction of paper moneys. Only when the conveying position detecting sensor and the paper money insertion sensor 68 detect the paper moneys in the order after the conveying position detecting sensor is turned to a non-detecting state by the passage of paper moneys conveyed by a timing belt 39 and before a paper money conveying path 31 is closed by the shutter member 75, the output of the paper money judge signal is inhibited. Thus, only when the illegal stealing operation occurs, the output of the judge signal is inhibited and when paper moneys are additionally inserted, the output of the judge signal concerning the paper moneys inserted before is permitted.
