To provide a paper packaging material for liquid food having metal gloss in which a service life equal to that of a conventional cutting blade for the perforation processing of a paper material is enabled without using a film obtained by metallizing a biaxially stretched film.
In the paper packaging material formed from a laminate wherein thermoplastic resin layers are provided on both surfaces of a paper layer, the paper layer has a surface coated with inorganic matter such as clay or the like, or organic matter such as polyethylene or the like, and has an aluminum vapor deposition layer on the coated surface thereof. Especially, if the coating layer of the paper layer is surface-treated, an undercoat layer is provided between the coating layer and the aluminum vapor deposition layer, and a topcoat layer is provided on the aluminum vapor deposition layer, this paper packaging material shows metal gloss or the like equal to that of a packaging material manufactured using a conventional aluminum vapor deposition film.
