This paper preventing the curl is characterized by coating cationized oxidized tapioca starch as the sizing solution of a surface-sizing press liquid. The method for producing the paper preventing the curl is characterized by using a surface-sizing press liquid having a liquid concentration of 10 to 14 mass % and using the cationized oxidized tapioca starch as the sizing solution of a surface-sizing press liquid by a metered film transfer method (hereinafter referred to as MFT method) as the surface-sizing press method.
