PURPOSE: To provide a paper-processing device, with which the re-setting of continuous paper is automated as to the paper processing device, in which the feeding out to the next perforation can be carried out by feeding out only the remaining quality of the paginal feed of continuous paper when the cutting off of power source during processing is released.

CONSTITUTION: The device concerned feeds the continuous paper 2, at the paginal end of which perforation is provided, from a paper feeding part 1 by a paper feeding means 3 so as to execute the predetermined processing on the continuous paper 2 with a processing means 5. The device concerned is equipped with a calculating means 10 for calculating the feed of the continuous paper 2 in synchronization with perforation, a nonvolatile storing means 9, which stores the feed of the continuous paper calculated by the calculating means 10 at the stoppage of processing due to abnormalities including the cutting off of power source during processing, and a calculating means 11 for calculating the remaining quantity of paginal feed on the basis of the stored paginal length and feed of the continuous paper 2 so as to have a constitution, which feeds out the continuous paper 2 only by the calculated remaining quantity of feed.
