Abstract:
To immediately stop the feed of securities toward cutting edges when the cutting edges are made to stop and feed securities only when a shredding means is correctly attached.
This device is provided with a carrying unit to carry securities, a shredding unit 23 to cut the securities by the rotation of cutting edges 2 and 3 and an optical sensor 43 to detect the rotation of the cutting edges 2 and 3 of this shredding unit 23. If this optical sensor 43 does not detect the rotation of the cutting edges 2 and 3, the carrying of securities by means of the carrying unit is made to stop by a controller 61.
