PURPOSE: To improve the inspection processing efficiency by processing inspection in parallel by plural inspection processing means, returning bundles for paper sheets after the end of inspection to a bundle processing carrying means where they are processed.
CONSTITUTION: A conveyor 3 being a bundle processing carrying means processes lots of bundles of paper sheets wrapped and not inspected yet and carries the bundles to inspection machines 5 and pre-processing machines 4 being component machines of plural sets of inspection processing means. Each of the inspection processing means 5, 4 receives respectively each carried bundle and applies inspection processing to the paper sheets included in each bundle in parallel. Then, each of the inspection processing means 5, 4 wraps the inspected paper sheets and carries them to a carrying intake path of a bundle processing carrying means 3 as the inspected bundles. The bundle processing carrying means 3 applies carrying processing and bundle processing to the inspected bundle fed from each of the inspection processing means 5, 4. Thus, lots of paper sheets are quickly subjected to inspection processing and the paper sheets whose inspection is finished is processed efficiently.
