Abstract:
PURPOSE: To continuously, automatically and quickly perform the measurement of a sample, and facilitate the direct read of a measurement value.
CONSTITUTION: The capacities of variable capacity diodes 1a, 1b of two sides of a bridge circuit 1 are capacity-swept with capacity sweep waves having a determined frequency difference which are outputted from a capacity sweep circuit 3, respectively. The amplitude change of the bridge output current accompanying the capacity sweep is detected by a wave detecting circuit 5, and the point of time of a maximum amplitude is detected by a peak detecting circuit 7, whereby an equilibrium timing signal is provided. This signal is used as a sampling signal to sample the capacity sweep wave with a sample hold circuit 8. The hold output is applied to a variable capacity diode 9a or 9b having the paired characteristic with the variable capacity diodes of the bridge sides capacity-swept by the sweep wave to be sampled, and the capacity at this time is detected by a capacity detecting circuit, whereby the value of the imaginary number or real number component of a sample 1e is indicated by an indicating part 10.
